Friday Gems: Kahf Recitation & Interactive Lesson

At 2:30 PM ET (New York time), Shaykh Ismael Essa will recite Surat al-Kahf while we project the Arabic, translation, and transliteration. Then Shaykha Muslema will reflect on a short passage from Surat al-Kahf.

At 3:30 pm ET (New York time), Shaykha Muslema will give a talk on the Prophet’s statement that prayer is the mi’raj (ascension) of a believer. How can our prayers transform from rote actions into spiritual journeys with the Divine? Her talk will be followed by a 20-minute question & answer session.
